Niall O’Brien and a group of friends are preparing to take on an extraordinary cycling challenge this August, travelling 687km from Mizen Head in Cork to Malin Head in Donegal to raise funds for MS Ireland.

MS Ireland's STEPtember Challenge is back for 2026, and this year we are making it more inclusive than ever.

Instead of aiming for one target, we are encouraging everyone to set their own movement goal. Whether it's 10,000 steps, 1,000 steps, 100 steps, wheeling, rolling or daily arm exercises, STEPtember is about choosing a goal that works for you and challenging yourself throughout September.
