Fundraising Department
The success of MS Ireland in the development of services for people with MS springs from the support, in both financial terms and personal commitment, from so many people throughout Ireland during the past 50 years.
Funds generated from voluntary fundraising activities provide MS Ireland with the capital resources to enable it to move ahead with new developments.
The Fundraising Department is located at 80 Northumberland Road, Dublin 4, comprising of one manager and five full time staff.
Services Provided
The Fundraising Department is responsible for fundraising ventures. This Departments’ main functions are:
- To plan and co-ordinate all activities associated with effective fundraising and its related public awareness services.
- To devise and develop annual fundraising plan for the maintenance and further development of fundraising activities with the Society
- To liase with local branches and other organizations who support the work of the Society.
- To establish and maintain an effective database regarding fundraising activities.
- Acknowledgement letters receipting donations
- To prepare documentation and progress reports for management meetings.
- To brand the logo of the organisation
