Our Mission, Vision and Values
MS Ireland
The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland (MS Ireland) is the only National Organisation providing information, support and advocacy services to the MS community.
We work with people with multiple Sclerosis (PwMS), their family members, carers and a range of key stakeholders including health care professionals, students and anyone with an interest in MS.
The principal objects for which MS Ireland is established are set out in our Constitution and are:
(1) To enable and empower people with multiple sclerosis (hereinafter referred to as "PwMS") to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential;
(2) To provide support for the families and carers of PwMS;
(3) To co-operate with the medical, scientific, social and caring professions to promote scientific research into the causes of, cure for and management of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and the alleviation of its medical and social symptoms;
(4) To exchange and disseminate information relating to MS;
(5) To provide an identifiable focal point by developing an efficient, effective and caring organisation to serve the needs of PwMS and to advocate on their behalf;
