Digesting Science is a cool, new and interactive website aimed at kids which explains to them all about the condition Multiple Sclerosis. The aim of the website is to help children better understand MS in a fun and easy to understand manner. The website and activities have been created for young people to watch, listen and get involved in.
The website tries to improve your understanding and knowledge of MS so people, especially younger kids, can ask questions about what is happening inside the body of a person living with MS. The Digesting Science programme also consists of an educational programme for kids who have a parent living with MS. Children can come and learn about the science behind the condition from various different neurological researchers.
Launched in February 2013, the course aims to equip young people with the power and knowledge to deal with the issues of having a parent living with MS. It is a great idea and one which will most definitely educate and get young people thinking more about MS.
