MS Ireland has partnered with Sanofi Genzyme on The World vs.MS, a new, socially-driven initiative that aims to drive meaningful change in the lives of people living with MS and those who support them. By understanding their challenges, connecting people and driving innovation, our mission is to improve their everyday life.
After receiving a huge 103 challenges of living with MS from people all over the world, the final three challenges have been shortlisted by The World vs.MS Steering Committee and Judging Panel. It is now back over to the international MS community to come up with suggestions on how the challenges can be solved. Anyone can have an idea and that idea could be ‘the idea!’
The first challenge is from Fernando, age 52, from Spain. Fernando struggles with bladder control.
“My challenge is preventing my issues with bladder control caused by my MS from automatically having a negative effect on my social relationships, lowering my self-esteem and seriously reducing my independence, due to not enjoying the freedom to travel on public transport.”
Download the briefing pack to find out more about Fernando’s challenge, how to submit an idea and how the process works.
The deadline for ideas is 25th October 2016. The winner will gain access to up to €100,000 to turn the idea into a reality.
Keep an eye out for the other two challenges coming soon!
