An Information Webinar on the HEAR and DARE Schemes

Awareness Week is set to take place from the 18th – 24th of November. 

This is a national campaign which promotes the benefits of going to college, helps students of all ages to become college-ready and showcases local role models.

An information webinar on the HEAR and DARE schemes is scheduled for Tuesday the 19th of November at 10.30am. You can register for this event here 

The Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) is a higher education admissions scheme for Leaving Cert students (under 23) whose economic or social background are underrepresented in higher education. You can find out more here: https://accesscollege.ie/hear/

DARE is a third level alternative admissions scheme for school-leavers whose disabilities have had a negative impact on their second level education. DARE offers reduced points places to school leavers who, as a result of having a disability, have experienced additional educational challenges in second level education.
