The University of Limerick are looking for creative logo designs that convey the positive effects of exercise, and the walking, strengthening and educational aspects of the 'Step it Up' programme.
What is 'Step it Up'?
The “Step it Up” programme is an extension of “Getting the Balance Right” a 10 week programme that aims to help people with MS to reach the target amount of aerobic and strengthening exercise that is recommended. We know from Getting the Balance Right that exercise is beneficial, but we also know that 12 weeks after the classes that the improvements aren’t maintained. The “Step it Up” programme will combine exercise classes with education to see if we can help people to stay active for longer.
One logo will be selected by the project steering committee which includes researchers, clinicians and people with MS. The lucky winner will receive a €100 One for All voucher.
Winning entrants will see their logo in the following places:
- On all material that goes to participants in the Step it Up Project
- In MS Ireland's MSnews magazine which goes to 5000 members, clinics and health professionals around the country
- In a special edition of MS Ireland's electronic newsletter
- Throughout social media profiles – Facebook and Twitter
