We used our responses to highlight vital issues such as:
- The importance of the Medical Card to people with MS
- The unpredictable nature of MS and the need for people to be able to smoothly re-access state payments and supports if forced to suddenly withdraw from the workforce
- The differences between EU rates of employment for people with MS and Irish rates, and possible reasons for these differences
- The need for appropriate workplace assessment services and supports
