The Flora Women's Mini Marathon is the biggest women's event of its kind in the WORLD! So you can imagine how over-the-moon we were to have over our biggest team ever - 600 fabulous ladies - there on the day as part of Team MS Ireland.
MS Ireland staff Ava, Miriam, Diana and Ailis were there to support the team on a lovely May Bank Holiday Monday. You may have spotted us cheering in Ballsridge with lots of balloons as you passed by! To say it made us all a little emotional seeing hundreds upon hundreds of our red t-shirts stand out in a crowd of almost 50,000 would be an unstatement.
When you work towards anything big it's always an adrenalin-rush when the day actually arrives. It was so nice to get to meet the some of the people we have been communicating with over the past few months. Before the race we all congregated at The Shelbourne for a team piccy and then afterwards we headed to The Mercantile to unwind with our medals!
