World MS Day Campaign

The theme this year is ‘diagnosis’. The time of diagnosis can be emotionally challenging for many. Whether someone has just received a diagnosis of MS or have transitioned to a different type of MS, various concerns and emotions can arise.

Recognising that each diagnosis journey is as unique as a fingerprint, it is crucial to provide a platform for individuals to share their experiences if they wish to do so.

This year, we invite people living with MS to compose a letter about their diagnosis. This letter can be addressed to anyone they choose, whether it's their past or future self, their family, healthcare providers, or decision-makers.

Within these letters, individuals have the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings, share their concerns or hopes for the future, and explain what they want others to understand about MS. The content of the letters is entirely up to the author's discretion.

How can I join the campaign on May 30th?

All you have to do is follow our simple steps and you can be involved in the campaign!

Step one: Write a letter about diagnosis.

Step two: post it to your social media along with the hashtags #ManyStories at one of three peak times 9:30am, 1:30pm and 5pm.

Step 3: Tag MS Ireland in the post.
