National MS Society (USA): Take Action on the Disability Treaty
On World MS Day, the National MS Society encouraged people to be part of the international movement focussing on access and urge your US Senators to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD or Disability Treaty). The Disability Treaty will affirm the rights of Americans living with disabilities who study, work, serve and live abroad.

Shift.ms: Circle of Truth
On World MS day, Shift.ms - the online community for young people with MS - released their new film called 'Circle of Truth'. The film centres on Gen, a woman deciding whether or not to disclose her MS to her boss and work colleagues. It's a fantastic, true to life look at the often difficult topic of disclosure.

European Multiple Sclerosis Platform: MS Barometer
EMSP launched the MS Barometer. Benefiting from the active participation and involvement of 25 member societies (including MS Ireland), EMSP were able to put together an updated overview of the current situation of MS management across Europe. In doing so, they managed to provide answers to key questions such as "What needs to be improved to impact on the quality of life of people with MS?".

China Organisation for Rare Disorders (CORD)
MSIF's Luke Thomas spent World MS Day in China where a number of events were held. The Yue Art Museum, Beijing was the setting for for the World MS Day event organised by a local group, MS Home. Huang Rufang, CORD President, spoke about CORD’s activities, along with a few other leading figures. When Luke was asked to say a few words from MSIF he stressed how proud and excited we are to be attending a World MS Day event organised by a new local MS group.
