Professor Susan Coote
Professor Susan Coote is a physiotherapist specialising in neurological rehabilitation. She leads the MS Research team at UL and has over 70 publications and over €1.5m of grant funding. Her research aim is to reduce symptom severity and increase quality of life for people living with neurological conditions in the community. The themes of her research include Exercise and Physiotherapy interventions, Education and Exercise to maintain a lifelong physical activity habit, Falls prevention assessment and intervention and Technology in Rehabilitation. She currently is working to implement her research findings into the HSE and Community practice.
