We are assisting Carol Campbell a Masters student, studying Health Promotion in the National University of Ireland Galway (NUI). As part of her studies, Carol is carrying out research into what maternity care is like for women who have a physical disability or sensory impairment.
Who can participate?
If you have given birth in the last five years and have a physical disability or sensory impairment as a consequence of multiple sclerosis (MS), Carol would really like to hear about your experiences.
Aim of study
To gain insight into the experiences of maternity care of women which may help to:
- Inform the practices of health care professionals.
- Provide relevant information to women with a physical disability or sensory impairment and are contemplating having a baby, or who are in the process of having a baby.
