JustGiving is a private, for-profit, UK e-commerce company formed in 2000 that provides online tools and processing services to enable the collection of charitable donations. Established by Zarine Kharas and Ann-Marie Huby, JustGiving allows people to donate to charities registered with the site with their debit or credit card online and offers people doing sponsored events the chance to build their own webpage to collect sponsorship from supporters. Since its foundation JustGiving has raised over €1.6 billion for over 13,000 charities worldwide so far.
MS READaTHON Reading Period Comes To An End
It’s hard to believe but the MS READaTHON reading period has sadly come to an end. Who could think a month could go by so quickly but as the old saying goes “time flies when you’re having fun” or in our case time flies when your busy reading. We would sincerely like to express our thanks to all the children, schools, libraries and people who donated for taking part in our READaTHON.
