Think books are too expensive? Think again!

CONGRATULATIONS to the winner of our third MS READaTHON competition of 2013!

When people say they ‘don’t read’, I don’t really believe them. ‘Can’t read’ is one thing – some people have literacy issues, for all kinds of reasons – but ‘don’t read’? Nah. I bet they read text messages or things on Facebook. I bet they read the back of a DVD case or the latest news about their favourite singer or football player. We live in a world where words are so important, and written-down words are all around us.

We are thrilled to announce that the MS READaTHON has teamed up with some incredible partners for our biggest competition this year!

Every child, after a bedtime story, falls asleep to vividly dream of the wonders and images that have just been created in their minds. Images like the Imp in the Brothers Grimm’s Rumpelstiltskin and what he looks like while helping the Millers’ daughter as she tries to spin straw into gold.

We are EXCITED to announce that the MS READaTHON reading period has officially kicked off and that can only mean one thing – it’s time for you to SWITCH ON TO READING! There are so many celebrations happening today so we want to make sure you can get involved. Okay here we go…

It’s that time of the year again, yes it's competition time! We are all so excited here at the MS READaTHON and we hope all of you are too.

The MS READaTHON reading period is fast approaching but there is still lots of time for children or schools  to sign up and support our services for  people living with MS.
